The first Trader Joe’s is coming fall 2021 to South Bend, Indiana. This California grocery chain is a lot like Aldi’s with a smaller selection of items compared to traditional grocery chains, to keep prices more affordable, but it still has a wide selection of items and lots of great health food options. The next nearest locations are in Kalmazoo and Fort Wayne.
This South Bend Trader Joe’s Grocery will be around 12,500 square feet and located near the Eddy Street Commons in South Bend, making it within close proximity to the University of Notre Dame Campus.
The entrance will be off of North Eddy Street, with the Trader Joe building situated along South Bend Avenue and a parking lot located on the southwest corner.
